Patti Marlowe To All Instructors
Patti Marlowe is a Wife, and a Mother to 4, and a “GiGi” to 3 grandchildren.
She has been a homeschool mom since 2008. She enjoys art, theatre, drama, reading, writing, music and gardening. She is a business owner, and entrepreneur, for 30 years and has specialized in the art of hair replacement, for men, women, and children. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Arts, and has taught Continuing Education in Hair replacement to professionals, and cosmetology students. She also worked as a continuing education provider, for the NC State Board of Cosmetic Arts for several years, throughout her career.
In 2013, she became an authorized facilitator for the award – winning Child Abuse Prevention Training Program; Darkness to Light's - Stewards of Children. In 2014, she was named the Prevention Specialist for Guilford County at large, and worked for the Greater YMCA of High Point, for 5 years part time. In this role, she worked closely with youth serving organizations to change, form and customize real working solutions & policies that improved child abuse safety concerns. She continues to train organizations, in Darkness to Light, and remains a tireless advocate for Child Abuse Prevention. During the month of April, which is named “Child Abuse Prevention Month” she continues to speak at CAPME events, and trainings in and around the state of NC. In December of 2017, she founded the Non-Profit S.A.F.E. Child Ministries (S.top A.buse F.or E.very Child)
